This soft-sided carrier takes your cat or small dog to vet appointments, on car or train journeys, and into the plane cabin when the airline allows it. Its mesh walls let air and light through: your companion can see outside, you can see it too, and it travels more calmly than in a closed box.

Which size should I choose?

Your pet must be able to stand, turn around and lie down inside. Measure it from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail and compare with the length of the bag.

How to use it

Leave the bag open for a few days with a blanket so your pet gets used to it; close every zipper fully. In the car, pass the seat belt through the handles to hold the bag in place.

By plane, in the cabin

A cat or small dog can travel in the cabin, in a soft-sided carrier slid under the seat in front, if the airline accepts pets and you have declared it when booking: the number of pets per flight is limited. Air France, for example, accepts cats and dogs in the cabin under 8 kg, carrier included; above that, they travel in the hold. Each airline also sets its own maximum dimensions: compare them with the bag's, 43 × 25 × 28 cm for the M and 52 × 25 × 34 cm for the L. A soft bag squeezes down a little, but the airline has the final say.

• Before the flight: get your pet used to the bag over several days, a light meal a few hours before, an absorbent pad at the bottom.
• Papers: microchip identification and, for travel outside France, a European pet passport and rabies vaccination.
• On board: it stays in the closed bag for the whole flight, under the seat in front.

Can it go on a plane, in the cabin?
Yes, if the airline accepts pets in the cabin and your pet and the bag meet its maximum weight and dimensions: at Air France, under 8 kg carrier included. Check when booking and declare your pet.

Can a 10 kg dog travel in the cabin?
Not with Air France, where the cabin limit is 8 kg, carrier included: above that, the pet travels in the hold, in a rigid crate. Check your airline's limit.

Which airlines accept dogs in the cabin?
Not all of them, and places per flight are limited: check before buying the ticket and book your pet's place at the same time.

Can my cat open it?
Close every zipper all the way. For a very resourceful cat, stay beside it during the journey.

How do I clean it?
Wipe the fabric with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it dry open.

Is it suitable for a dog?
Yes, for a small dog that fits comfortably in the L. Beyond that, choose a larger crate.

Is it suitable for a Maine Coon?
