Squeaky octopus plush dog toy, 32 cm, crinkly tentacles

An octopus to shake, tug and fetch

Eight arms means eight handles: this plush octopus can be picked up by any end, shaken, thrown and brought back. A squeaker hidden in the head answers every bite and, according to buyers, the tentacles crinkle like paper, which puppies find intriguing. Its soft, textured chenille plush is gentle on the teeth.

Key points

• Mint-green chenille plush, purple undersides with white spots
• Squeaker in the head
• 8 tentacles to grab, for solo play or tug games
• About 32 cm long and 10 cm wide, lightweight
• For small and medium dogs, and puppies

Will it survive a heavy chewer?
No: it is a plush toy, made for nibbling and playing, not for shredding. For a dog that destroys its toys, see our rope toys and play together.

Is the squeaker dangerous?
It is sewn inside the head. Take the octopus away as soon as a seam gives way: neither the squeaker nor the stuffing should be swallowed.

What size of dog?
At 32 cm, it suits small and medium dogs: one buyer finds it perfect for a 4 kg puppy. In a large dog's mouth it will look small.

How do I wash it?
By hand, in lukewarm soapy water, then let it air dry.

Other plush toys?
Our squeaky plush bone and our 45 cm stuffingless plush.
