Our suggestions
Grooming at home, without stress
Matted fur under the belly, paws that pick up mud, knots behind the ears… This cordless dog and cat clipper lets you keep the coat tidy between visits to the groomer, or fully clip a small dog. It is light, designed to be quiet, and charges via USB.
Key points
- Ceramic and titanium blade with a rounded cutting head so as not to hurt the skin (according to the manufacturer)
- 5 cutting positions, from 0.8 to 2 mm, with the dial under the blade
- 4 guide combs of 3, 6, 9 and 12 mm to leave the coat longer
- Cordless: lithium battery rechargeable via USB cable (included)
- Low noise, so as not to frighten your pet (according to the manufacturer)
- Complete kit: clipper, 4 guide combs, USB cable and cleaning brush
Which pet is it for?
For dogs and cats with short, medium or curly coats: Yorkshire Terrier, Poodle, Shih Tzu, Bichon, a long-haired cat that gets knots… and even rabbits. Double-coated breeds such as the Husky or the Shepherd are not clipped: they are brushed, and the clipper is then used for finishing touches (paws, pads).
How to clip
- Brush the coat first to remove knots and dead hair.
- Fit a guide comb (the longest to start with) and clip in the direction of the hair, without pressing.
- For paws and pads, remove the comb and set the blade to the shortest; gently stretch the skin and go slowly.
Brush the blade after each use.

Does the battery last long?
Long enough to clip a small dog in one go, according to buyers (a Yorkshire Terrier, a Poodle). Charge it fully before first use.
Is it noisy?
Buyers find it quieter than a human clipper; another finds it "not very quiet". Let your pet hear it for a few minutes before you start, with a treat.
Can I clip a cat?
Yes, for knots, the belly or the hindquarters. A cat's skin is thin: keep a guide comb on and go slowly.
Can it be washed?
The blade is cleaned with the brush; the clipper itself must not go under water.
- Care: brush the blade after each use; never put the clipper under water.
