This model is a mesh vest that wraps the chest and shoulders: it closes with a wide hook-and-loop strip backed by a clip buckle, and the lead clips to the D-ring on the back. What size should I choose?
Measure the neck girth and the chest girth (behind the front legs, at the widest point). The vest must be snug: two fingers fit underneath, no more. Between two sizes, take the smaller if your cat is slim, the larger if it is stocky.

Can my cat still escape from it?
No harness is foolproof with a determined cat. This one greatly reduces the risk thanks to the wrap-around vest and the double fastening, provided it is properly adjusted: two fingers under the vest, no more.
How do I get my cat used to it?
Let your cat wear the vest for a few minutes at home, without the lead, with treats, several days in a row. Add the lead indoors, then go out somewhere quiet. An adult cat that has never been outside may never enjoy it: do not insist.
Does it fit a small dog?
Yes, for a puppy or a dog under 7 kg, going by the measurements in the table.
How do I wash it?
By hand in lukewarm water with mild soap; air dry with the hook-and-loop strip closed.
