Our suggestions
Brushing your companion's teeth, at your fingertips
This silicone finger toothbrush slips onto your index finger like a thimble. Its soft bristles, distributed all around, clean the surface of the teeth and massage the gums without hurting them. You can feel exactly what you are doing with your fingertip: it's simpler and gentler than a handled brush, for both dogs and cats.
The essentials at a glance
- 360° soft bristles: every side of the finger brush scrubs
- Flexible silicone: gentle on teeth and gums
- At your fingertip: a precise and reassuring movement for your pet
- Dogs and cats of all sizes
- Five colors: practical for distinguishing each pet's brush
How to use it
- Slide the finger brush onto your index finger and apply a little pet-safe toothpaste to the bristles.
- Gently lift the lip and rub the teeth in small circles, focusing on the back teeth.
- Start with a few seconds, then gradually increase the duration of the sessions.
- Rinse the finger brush with lukewarm water and let it dry.
Everything you need to take care of your companion: dog grooming and cat grooming.
Which toothpaste should I use?
Only toothpaste formulated for animals. Human toothpaste is not suitable: it is intended to be spit out, and some contain xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.
How often should I brush?
Ideally every day, or at least several times a week. Regular brushing helps limit plaque buildup but does not replace a veterinary check-up.
Is it suitable for cats?
Yes: the finger brush is easier for a cat to accept than a handled brush. Start by letting them lick a little toothpaste off the bristles.
When should I replace it?
As soon as the bristles are worn or torn. Plan on one finger brush per animal.
At what age should you start brushing your cat's teeth?
As a kitten: vets advise starting dental care early so that your cat gets used to it. Dental disease becomes extremely common in older cats. The needs for each age are in our guide cat age in human years.
- Care: rinse after each use and store in a dry place.
- Tracked delivery, free on orders of €49 or more
- 30 days to change your mind, no justification required
