Plush fleece vest for small dogs and cats, cable pattern, leash ring, XS to XXL

A vest as soft as a cuddly toy, for small dogs that feel the cold

This plush fleece vest wraps your small dog's back and chest in a thick, fluffy fabric with an embossed cable pattern, like a chunky-knit jumper. The cream ribbed collar protects the neck, and a small ring on the back lets you clip on the leash for a short outing. It slips on over the head, with no buttons or Velcro.

Key points

• Thick plush fleece, with an embossed cable pattern
• Cream ribbed collar, which keeps the neck warm
• D-ring on the back, on a fabric loop
• 3 colours: mustard yellow, salmon or caramel
• 6 sizes, from XS (chest 30 cm) to XXL (chest 55 cm); caramel starts at M

Which size should I choose?

Measure the chest, just behind the front legs, and the back length, from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. The manufacturer advises choosing by chest; between two sizes, or for a growing puppy, take the larger one.

The leash ring is fine for a calm walk; for a dog that pulls, clip the leash to a harness worn under the vest instead.

In knit, see our cable-knit turtleneck sweater; against rain and hard cold, the small dog puffer jacket. All our coats and clothing.

Is it suitable for a cat?
Yes, for a cat that accepts being dressed, or a hairless cat, in XS or S depending on its chest.

Does it keep a dog warm outdoors?
Yes on a cool, dry walk; in the rain the fleece gets wet: choose a raincoat instead.

How do I wash it?
At 30 °C on a delicate programme, in a laundry bag; dry flat in the open air. Brush it gently by hand to keep the plush soft.
