A helping hand for the hindquarters

With age, or after an injury, some dogs struggle to get up, climb stairs or jump into the car. This support harness slides under the belly, just in front of the hind legs, and closes with hook-and-loop strips: holding the two handles, you take some of its weight while it walks on all four legs.

How do I use it?

Slide the band under the belly, in front of the hind legs, close it without tightening, then hold the grip at hip height: lift just enough to help, without carrying your dog entirely, and let it walk at its own pace. Measure the belly girth at that spot to choose the size. If your dog is in pain or limping, ask your vet.

Measure the belly girth just in front of the hind legs: up to 54 cm, S; up to 60 cm, M; up to 80 cm, XL, for a large dog such as a Labrador.
