A Sphynx, an older cat or a chihuahua has little to protect it from the cold when the heating is turned down. This fleece onesie covers them from the neck to the top of all four legs. Which size should I choose?

Measure the chest at its widest point, just behind the front legs, and the back length, from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Between two sizes, take the larger one: according to one buyer, it runs rather small.

What is it for?

For indoors and chilly days. One buyer found it thinner than expected: it keeps your pet warm inside, but it is not a coat for going out in very cold weather. Get your pet used to it in short sessions, and take it off if it scratches or tries to get out of it.

It is designed first for hairless cats, older cats or cats shaved after grooming. A long-haired cat rarely needs it indoors.

Yes, for a small dog: chihuahua, Yorkshire terrier or bichon, up to a 47 cm chest.

How do I care for it?
Hand wash or machine wash on a delicate programme at 30 °C, in a laundry bag; air dry, away from the radiator.

Do cats really need clothes in winter?
