A covered litter box with a stainless steel tray that won't hold odours
Plastic scratches, and scratches hold odours. This covered cat litter box has a stainless steel tray of 59.5 x 39.5 cm, smooth and easy to wash, under a hood that keeps the litter inside. Your cat goes in through the swing door at the front and can come out through the top; the grid at the entrance catches the litter stuck to its paws.
Key points
- Stainless steel tray of 59.5 x 39.5 cm, 15 cm deep: scratch-resistant and washed in no time
- Covered hood: the litter stays inside, your cat keeps its privacy
- Front entry of 24 x 24 cm, with a transparent swing door
- Top exit of 22 x 22 cm, with a lid
- Entrance grid that catches litter stuck to the paws
- Stainless steel scoop with holder, deodorising bag included
Which cat is it for?
For cats up to 7 kg according to the manufacturer, large cats included: the tray is almost 60 cm long. Cats that dig hard or kick litter around benefit the most. One customer says it is "really big" and prefers stainless steel to plastic.
Setting it up
- Fit the hood onto the tray.
- Pour 5 to 7 cm of litter into the tray.
- Place the box in a quiet spot, away from its bowls and fountain.
- Scoop out the waste every day; when you change the whole litter, wash the tray with soapy water.
Our whole litter and hygiene department.
Why a stainless steel tray?
Unlike plastic, stainless steel does not scratch under claws: odours have no micro-scratches to settle in, and it cleans with soapy water in seconds.
Which litter should I use?
Any granular litter works: clumping, plant-based or silica. Very fine granules stick to the paws more.
Will my cat accept it?
Most cats take to it quickly. For the first few days, add some of its old litter and leave the top lid open.
How is it delivered?
In one parcel of about 4 kg, to assemble: tray, hood and scoop.
- Care: scoop daily; wash the tray with soapy water when you change the litter.
