Which litter is it for?

It is designed for clumping litter: clumps stay in the scoop, while clean grains fall back through the fine mesh and between the bars. Granules larger than 3 mm (wood, silica crystals) do not pass through the mesh: they only pass through the bars.

How to use it

1. Slide the scoop under the clump by scraping the bottom of the box.
2. Shake gently: clean grains fall back into the box.
3. Empty the clumps into a bag or trash can.
4. From time to time, rinse the scoop with soapy water and dry it.

Does it rust?
It is made of stainless steel. Dry it after every wash: the scoop and its wooden handle will stay in good condition longer.

How do I clean it?
Rinse the metal part with soapy water, brush the mesh if necessary, then dry. Do not use a dishwasher or soak, due to the wooden handle.

Does it fit all litter boxes?
At 13 cm wide, it fits in standard litter boxes as well as covered litter houses, and its flat edge reaches the corners.

How often should the litter box be cleaned?
Scoop at least once a day, twice if you can, and wash the box every week with warm water and unscented soap: a dirty litter box is one of the causes of house soiling. See our guide cat urine.
